AIGA Conference: Design Future
Discipline:
Signage & Animation & Exhibition Design
Project Time: 6 Weeks
Role: Design & Art direction
Class: GR601
Instructor: David Hake
Semester: Fall 2020
Background:
The American Institute of Graphic Arts(AIGA) is a professional design organization. Its members practice all forms of communication design, including graphic design, typography, interaction design, user experience, branding, and identity. I decided to name the theme of conference design future. The task is to develop a metaphor that reflects the context of the conference.
Approach:
Instead of introducing new visual elements for the conference, I decided to explore the AIGA logo itself. I wanted to unleash the logo from the box and bring a certain dynamic movement to reflect the experience of the conference.
